1. What is AI Retouch?
AI Retouch allows you to modify and enhance backgrounds or generated images at any stage of your workflow. It’s powered by two advanced systems: Nano Banana and Flux Context. Both can be accessed from the Workflow tab (to influence the image while creating) or from the History tab (to refine results later, with or without cars).
Nano banana allows you update the image with consistency of the background and details. The animation can be added later with Kling Ai, Seednace, Hailuo or Google VEO3.
2. What is Nano Banana?
Nano Banana is designed for precision edits and smaller retouching tasks.
Best for: Removing unwanted objects, cleaning roads, fixing details, adjusting reflections, or correcting minor inconsistencies.
Benefits: Fast, targeted, and keeps the rest of the image untouched for maximum realism.
Use case example: Removing distracting elements like pedestrians, signs, or objects without affecting the car or scene.
Prompt : " Change the daytime to night with full moon illuminating the car beautifully."
3. What is Flux Context?
Flux Context specializes in larger-scale contextual edits.
Best for: Replacing skies, altering landscapes, changing buildings, or adapting the environment to a new mood.
Benefits: Creates seamless results even when making big changes to the scene.
Use case example: Turning a sunny day into an overcast mood, replacing the skyline, or transforming the background for a campaign variation.
Prompt "Change the daytime to night with full moon illuminating the car beautifully."
4. When should I use AI Retouch in the workflow?
From the Workflow tab: Apply retouching as part of your creation process to shape the background before placing or generating cars.
From the History tab: Refine already generated results – either with the car still in place or after removing it for CGI workflows.
5. What are the key benefits of AI Retouch?
✅ Full control over background aesthetics without re-generating an image.
✅ Works with both initial backplates and final generated scenes.
✅ Two levels of editing: precise micro-retouch (Nano Banana) and broad contextual retouch (Flux Context).
✅ Increases flexibility for concepting, marketing variations, and production polishing.
6. How does AI Retouch integrate with other pipelines?
3D Camera → Use AI Retouch after setting perspective to clean or adapt the background.
Inspiration Flow → Apply retouch to quickly adapt generated moodboards to client preferences.
Place the Car → Adjust the environment around your uploaded cutout for perfect realism.
HDR Generation → Retouch the backplate before generating the HDR dome, ensuring lighting matches the final look.
